This book is wonderful. I heard Pat Pavelka talk last year with my school district and was able to apply it to my classroom right away. This book helped me to create meaningful centers that engaged my students and allowed me to give the attention I needed to give to my guided reading groups. I work at a teaching supply store on the weekends and have told many of our customers about the benefits of this book and how beneficial it has been for my teaching. Most of them snatch it right up...! I am in a different district now and have encouraged my principal to send all 1st-3rd grade teacher to Pat`s workshop. It worked and we will all be attending her workshop this week. I really think it is going to help our school and our students. Thanks Pat!
