During the writing block of a Four-Blocks^TM classroom, children write and share each day, and they observe the teacher writing and thinking about writing during the daily writing mini-lesson. The focus of the mini-lessons changes as the school year goes on so the lessons in these books are grouped by early-in-the-year, most-of-the-year, and late-in-the-year mini-lessons.
