This book will help you solve the dilemma: What does the rest of my class do while I`m working with a small reading group? Debbie offers practical suggestions for more than a dozen literacy work stations that link to instruction. Each chapter includes: how to introduce each station; materials to include; what to model; how to solve problems; how to differentiate; how to assess and keep students accountable; and reflection questions for professional development. Literacy Work Stations - Making Centers Work
Reviewer: Kim  Rogers
I love this book! It is full of wonderful ideas that are practical and uses items that you may already have in your classroom. She explains in great detail the importance of modeling what you can do when you visit a station, and how to review with the students what they learned while they were there.
