These easy-to-manipulate disks provide hands-on practice for developing better number sense. Color-coded according to place value, the foam disks allow your students to visually track what happens when they regroup numbers in both addition and subtraction. And they help illustrate that multiplication is the same as repeated addition and division is the same as repeated subtraction. A resealable poly bag holds a total of 140 disks--20 disks for each of the 7 different color-coded place values--plus an instruction sheet that describes ways to use the disks and how to differentiate according to the skill levels of your students.
