Dr. Connie Hebert is a nationally acclaimed teacher of teachers. She is
national faculty instructor for Lesley University (Boston, MA) and a senior national
consultant for Staff Development for Educators. She also serves as a program
consultant and national speaker for Macmillan/McGraw-Hill. Dr. Hebert received
her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Masters in Reading from the College of
William & Mary, and Reading Recovery training from Lesley. Past experience in
the field includes a position as director of reading (K-12), elementary classroom
teacher (seven districts), Reading Recovery teacher (three districts), and adjunct
instructor for four Massachusetts colleges. Published articles and materials include
Scholastics INSTRUCTOR (August 04), Reading Today, Technology in Literacy,
and 50 Sight Word Phrases. Dr. Hebert has presented for educators in
over 45 states and for national IRA, Reading Recovery, NAESP, MRA, WSRA, and European Reading
conferences.
